Military General Mechanics Tool Kit Pelican Case

The General Mechanics Tool Kit (GMTK) was specifically made for the US Military to be a complete tool kit in a well-protected Pelican case that can go anywhere! The Pelican mobile tool box is a great solution for a rugged, mobile case that can exist in any temperature environment so taking it to work or in the field is no sweat. Each tray (6 shallow and 1 deep) is made to accept foam inserts to be used as you need or be used without. With the ability to hold up to 100 lbs. of tools, the case has been tested to meet and exceed 96 demanding military standards that include high impact, extreme temperatures and submersion. The rugged wheel construction and its wide wheelbase makes for excellent durability and stability while moving around. The case is impact resistant (drop proof up to 5 feet) and waterproof (up to 1 meter). The case measures 24 x 14 x 18 inches (LxWxH).

For case security, two hybrid, double throw latches with butterfly compression technology (capable of withstanding 328 lbs. of pulling pressure each) and two extra standard latches, work with a polymer o-ring in both lids to secure the case and maintain its watertight seal. Tool theft prevention comes in the form of extra-large, tamper-resistant, stainless steel padlock protectors. The case also sports two automatic pressure equalization valves (one in each compartment) that prevent vacuum lock and make the case easier to open at extreme altitudes.

What you should know about Surplus
All items are in good usable condition with plenty of use left; however, conditions will vary due to being actual used military surplus. The tool box shows usage however they are in good working order and fully functional. They will have scratches and dings, dirt stains, writing, color fading but no cracks. Some drawers may or may not have the foam cut outs. May not come with extra spare wheels.
