The U,S. Made Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet (TMT™) is a hemorrhage control device specifically designed for massive hemorrhage control of an extremity. Using lessons learned from the battlefield, the TMT is a government designed tourniquet to ensure ease of application and definitively achieve occlusion in combat. Taught as a self-aid and buddy-aid task, the TMT requires minimal training to instantly treat life-threatening hemorrhage of an extremity. Additionally, the TMT design eliminates shortcomings found in other tourniquets.

What we like about the TMT Tourniquet are two main features. The strap easily detaches from the metal buckle in a clip format so that it becomes easier and faster to wrap around a large limb without having to un-loop the strap.  The second notable features is the wide strap that both reduces tourniquet pain and helps to better control a massive hemorrhage with applied steady pressure.
