The Army issue ACU Universal Camo Pattern 3 Day Assault Backpack has a large capacity in a small pack making it a perfect military backpack for everyday use and hiking. It was designed to be a standard issue infantry pack used on short deployments and field exercises that can be attached to the larger main MOLLE II Rucksack for those on extended engagements. The assault pack has plenty of space with a large main compartment, a separate pocket on the front, which is zippered, and a small utility pocket with Velcro closure for your smaller items.

Other features include a slot for a radio antenna or hydration pack tube making it user friendly for the outdoors. The back pad is made to accept a hard and durable plastic stiffener to help support heavy loads and is easily removable when not needed. For heavier loads or bumpy hikes the belly strap keeps the pack from moving around or slipping off.  We find that the ACU material is stronger and more durable than other military packs making this backpack perfect for your everyday carry needs or for a quick trip out in the field. 

This assault pack is made with very durable denier nylon to be both water and abrasion resistant. This ACU pack has certainly been proven to hold up to field use being used by soldiers all around the world in various environments. Many of the ACU 3 Day packs we ship have internal webbing hidden in the frame sheet compartment. This webbing is sewn into the seams of the backpack for Airborne jumping.  You may never need it but it makes for strong durable construction. A great pack for everyday use due to it's size which makes it perfect for traveling, going to the gym, or a bag designed to be beaten up on when outdoors.  Add on the fact it has MOLLE webbing as an additional stress free way to include needed gear for long treks and this makes it your new essential bag.
