A Brief History of ALICE Packs:
The ALICE (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) system was adopted by the United States Army in the 1960s to replace the older M-1945 rucksack. ALICE packs were designed to be modular, allowing soldiers to customize their loadouts based on their specific needs. The system was widely used throughout the Cold War and beyond, and it remains a popular choice for military and civilian users alike.
