The right sling can make the difference. This U.S. Military Issue 2-point sling started to be made in the 1940’s for the M1 Garand and was continued until 2004 to include the M14 and some M16 stocks. This is the original cotton Viet Nam era sling with black steel hardware manufactured for the U.S. Government. Unissued in the original packaging now considered “dead stock” we were able to get these directly from a military base. If you want to have the original M1 Garand sling this would be it.
