The Outdoor Research extreme cold weather Firebrand mitts are a must have item for the extreme cold altitude. They are designed to keep your hands warm and dry. They are constructed to be waterproof and have a water repellent leather palm. The Firebrand Mitts are made out of a Nylon Taslan/Gore-Tex 2 ply. The Moonlite pile fleece combined with EnduraLoft insulation that is located on the back of the hand helps add additional warmth without feeling bulky. The palms are made out of goatskin which helps provide a better grip. The Mitten are designed to be used with and without the liners. The Removable fleece liner is also water repellent.
