The improved military style duffle bag is the next step in the generations of the G.I. duffel and replaces the top load 2 strap due to its ease of use. A GI duffel and sea bag has always been standard issue equipment and a go-to item for anyone needing a durable cargo style bag. The new duffel opens from the side with a heavy-duty nylon zipper making it easy to load and use.  There is a full protective flap covering the zipper and a metal ring to lock it closed. To be sure it is secure, four quick-release buckle cinch straps were added to lock down your gear even more.  

How to carry your gear is important.  The Improved GI duffel has 2 adjustable 1/4” thick padded back straps allowing hands free transport.   Two side carry handles and a top carry handle adds to its versatility.  Be sure it is yours with a 7.5” x 5” ID window.  There is also a hidden document pocket behind the window.  Full of features the Improved duffel works great for anyone needing a good sold bag.
