The TRU-SPEC® Contractor Boonie hat is made to offer more sun protection than a standard Boonie with a slightly larger brim. Like all military Boonie hats, it provides a uniform appearance and excellent protection from the elements while you’re in the field.  The Contractor Boonie got its name since it is the authorized Boonie hat for U.S. State Department for those working overseas.
