The TRU-SPEC® Contractor Boonie hat is made to offer more sun protection than a standard Boonie with a slightly larger brim.  Like all military Boonie hats, it provides a uniform appearance and excellent protection from the elements while you’re in the field. The added loop attachments on the front, top and back allows for easy and secure placement of a flag patch, name badge, and glint tape.  The Contractor Boonie got its name since it is the authorized Boonie hat for U.S. State Department for those working overseas.
