The U.S. Issue Aircrew Survival Vest, designated as the CMU-33A/P22-18V, ships with a selection of pouches including an angle-head flashlight to keep it in line with its history. The Aircrew Survival Vest has been a critical piece for both U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and U.S. Navy (USN) aircrews, serving from the late 1980s through the mid-2010s. A heritage item that is hard to find and has tons of uses. 

The appeal to the vest is that there was no set configuration and they moved based on the mission, unit and gear.  Each pouch had a specific fit but also worked for multiple items. The most common gear was a Radio, Signaling flares or devices such as mirrors, strobe lights and whistles.
