A true vintage military surplus piece of history. The vintage 1980's M65 Field Jacket was made of olive drab material and has not been used since then. They are much heavier and thinker than the Woodland Camo M65 Jackets and you can feel it. The M65 has signature features such as a fold away hood, fold out wind protection in the cuffs, a draw sting at the waist and 4 bellowed pockets along with hand pockets.  The m65 is made with 2 layers of fabric as to trap body heat in-between the layers and they also include buttons for a poly filled m65 liner.  

A hard-to-find item that will be easily noticed as authentic.  The tells sign besides the tag, is the brass zipper used during this time and before the change to nylon.  Vintage is known as items that that are 20 years old and have the style that represents the time period. The tip to reading the original dates on vintage clothing is the “DSA” number.  The 2 numbers preceding the “C” will tell you the manufacture date.
