The Improved Sleeping Mat or Iso Pad was made for U.S Marines to be more compact and  by designing the pad to fold like in an accordion style rather than rolling. The new design also allows the sleeping pad to offer more comfort while being 20% lighter. Made of closed-cell cross linked polyethylene foam it also keeps you warm from the cold ground.  when needed. Measuring 72” x 23” the improved military sleeping mat folds to 5" x 5 1/4” x 23 and weighs only 1.3 pounds
