Our all-purpose ABD Gauze Dressing Pad is ideal to cover wounds or soak bleeding from deep lacerations, abrasions, or burns.  This thick layer of cellulose quickly absorbs and disperses fluids laterally to prevent pooling. Hydrophobic back impedes strike through and all edges are sealed to prevent lining. This product is excellent for large wounds with high drainage. multiple dressings can be used for added protection. Additional protection can help with keeping the wound from further unnecessary injury as well as help to prevent drainage strike through. Drainage strike through increases the risk of infection since the pads are no longer absorbing the drainage allowing it to leak back into the wound.
