Having the correct bayonet for your AK-74 is just the right thing to do. The AK-74 bayonet was introduced in 1986 and was a big step in materials and general use of the knife. The AK-74 bayonet has a much more robust and well-fitting one-piece molded plastic grip that soldiers did not have to modify.

The blade of the AK-74 bayonet has radical cross-sectional profile. You can see alternate flat milling that enhanced the blade's strength and rigidity. The added spear point was also made for combat. The blade also incorporates a dedicated hole engineered for use in conjunction with the scabbard to form an expedient wire-cutter, a vital tool for overcoming battlefield obstacles.

Shipped with the included scabbard, this is a real time piece in new condition. Note they are old, and some storage marks or surface rust may be present.
