• Part of a Layering System: The PL5 vest, as part of PCU Level 7, designed to be an outer insulation layer in a comprehensive clothing system. 
• Fit: Because it is the 5th layer, this means it's often oversized to accommodate other layers underneath, including body armor. This is important to consider for sizing. Feel free to size down. 
• Synthetic down-like insulation that is wind and water-resistant made to be compressible for easy packing and dry quickly.
