The ESS Profile NVG goggle has been the standard military and tactical goggle system, and Battle tested in the most demanding theaters.  They are the authorized goggle issued by the U.S. Marine Corps and issued by the Army and other U.S. military and NATO forces due to their field of view, impact protection, or anti-fog performance. The Profile NVG is also compatible with the Rx insert.

Note: It is a personal preference to remove the top foam covering the vent holes allowing the goggles to be more breathable and help prevent fogging. The foam also tends to easily tear and is common in used goggles.  Please note that goggles may have ripped or missing foam for this reason.
