ESS Military Issue Terrain Tan Profile Goggles

The ESS Profile NVG goggle has been the standard military and tactical goggle system and Battle tested in the most demanding theaters.  They are the authorized goggle issued by the U.S. Marine Corps and issued by the Army and other U.S. military and NATO forces due to their field of view, impact protection, or anti-fog performance. The Profile NVG is also compatible with the UPLC Rx insert, ESS U-Rx and P-2B Rx Inserts.

Note: It is a personal preference to remove the top foam covering the vent holes allowing the goggles to be more breathable and help prevent fogging. The foam also tends to easily tear and is common in used goggles.  Please note that goggles may have ripped or missing foam for this reason.

Optics Condition Guide 

Surplus is real military gear and the exact conditions may vary.  We grade used military surplus to give you options and offer a more clear description. Military gear was built well and used by soldiers proving its tested quality.  We hope you find that it serves you well. All optics may not come with their original case.  

Grade 1: New, to like new condition, Unused but may show some storage marks without any scratches on the lens.  

Grade 2: What we call normal surplus. The gear is fully usable and shows normal signs of use and has a lot of life left. These will have some scratches in the outer areas but will not affect the center view and use of the glasses or goggles. The venting foam may be ripped or missing.  It is a personal preference to remove the top foam covering the vent holes allowing the goggles to be more breathable and help prevent fogging. Grade 3: This gear can still be used but had a rougher life.  They show heavier use or may have missing or torn foam. These are great for CIF turn in gear or one time use needs.
