Built for duty and uniform and the laying system, the Generation III Level 3 Fleece Jacket is part of the Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) for military outerwear to provide warmth while being breathable. It is a versatile jacket and can be used as a main jacket or liner while being conveniently lightweight and packable.  The Army tan color 499 is approved for use with the current OCP uniform. 

It feels like you are wearing a very comfortable blanket.  Constructed from 100% polar fleece, it is a great item for keeping you warm without bulk.  For added warmth, the front zipper fully extends all the way up through the collar.  The nylon covered neck, shoulder and elbow patches provide durability for repeated use making it more durable.  Breathable gridded armpit panels stretch and allow for greater range of movement while allowing heat to escape, keeping you dry and comfortable.
