The Military First Aid Kit Insert Box was part of the individual first aid kit issued along with the military A.L.I.C.E. equipment for basic medical supplies in the field.  The box proved well as a general small items container to keep other gear organized and safe with a snap lid.  The OD First Aid insert box secures keeping sand and most water out while being small enough to stash in a pack pocket.
