Using “air” technology to improve the level of comfort on hard services, the Original SWAT Air Metro 9” Boot offers many features delivering excellent functionality, durability and comfort. The action leather with 1000 denier nylon upper, polish able and stitched heel and toe and the double-stitched upper with 3-ply bonded nylon make it a great choice for a uniform boot that will last. Long days on hard surfaces require impact resistance technology. The Metro is constructed with different types of support to improve the overall comfort for extended wear. The custom-molded thermoplastic heel counter and Texon stability platform both provide lateral support while the custom-molded phylon EVA midsole offers cradled support. The visible heel air bag increases comfort by absorbing impact. Additionally, the airport friendly nylon shank resists fatigue. On and off again is quick and easy with the YKK side-zipper in durable Vislon pattern with hook and loop tab-stay closure. More importantly, safety features are a must while on duty and the Metro offers durable, slip and oil resistant, non-marking rubber outsole with waffle traction and ladder grip control meets the ASTM F2913-11 test for slip resistance.
