GI Military Jungle Boots are a classic that served U.S. troops for many years. The military Jungle Boot is constructed with features that are great for outdoor activities such as the famous "Panama" sole that keeps mud and debris pushed away from the sole giving you a great grip. There is an 8" canvas top, polish able black leather upper and a steel shank in the midsole for support.  A signature feature are the drain holes in the arch area that allows water to easily come out and your boots and vent to dry. This was an added feature designed to combat the constant wet jungle weather and help to prevent foot issues in soldiers.  

Many changes and improvements have been made to this hot weather combat boot since it was first introduced. The Panama style sole now used was developed by a U.S. Army Sergeant in 1944 to improve movement in clay and mud terrain. The U.S. military have since retired the military jungle boot from front-line service but that didn’t stop its popularity.
