The bleed stop kit can also be used as a throw bag for larger incidents and pack several into your larger medical kit. This stop the bleeding kit offers combat tested gear that is easy to use under stress with little or no training.

How to use it
Pressure bandage wrap / Tourniquet SWAT-T: This is a non-latex wrap that is used as a tourniquet, pressure bandage, ankle or bone wrap or sling. Printed with easy indicators to tell you when it is tourniquet pressure if needed. The shape and style also allow for pressure in hard to reach high placed like upper leg or shoulder. Made to be compact, waterproof and is used by SWAT and combat units.
Compression Z Gauze: Use to wrap wounds like cuts, scrapes and road rash or use a packing for larger deep wounds and blood soaking. Made with high quality cotton for maximum absorption and stability and compressed into a small vacuum sealed pack.
Gloves: Gloves are not just to keep you clear of other people’s fluids they keep your own wound clean while you are working on yourself. By this time your hands and the rest of you are full of dirt. Washing out your open wound then keeping the dirt out will go a long way to avoid infection setting in.
Quick Clot 3"x2' Optional: Quick Clot gauze it is available to add to the kit. We use a compact Mini Quick clot that will be good for most puncture wounds or to lay over a slice that will not stop bleeding. Quick Clot is a hemostatic device similar to a small sponge or gauzes that stop bleeding significantly faster and more effective than standard gauzes. It is meant to be packed into the wound or on top of of major bleeds and sealed over with gauze and pressure helping to speed up the clotting process. Quick Clot is used in many gun shot kits for those type of bleeds.
