There is a difference in a high-quality real U.S. issue wool blanket.  Made in a full size about 66" X 90" these were manufactured for the U.S. Army and not printed with a U.S. stamp logo.  You feel the difference from that of a reproduction.  These wool blankets were from the government and considered dead stock and never issued.
