The USMC FILBE (Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment) backpack was designed to be the standard issue upgrade for a Marines load carry system rucksack to carry large loads for missions while still having flexibility of movement.   Its popularity U.S. Made durability has also grown to become a great bushcraft and camping backpack in civilian life.  A very durable system that is made to take real abuse. Designed with MOLLE / PALS webbing that surrounds the gear to give you total versatility adding pouches as needed.  Each component is also designed to be replaced if ever needed making this a long last piece of kit the can keep on going as your needs change.

What you should know about Military Surplus
All items are in good usable condition with plenty of life left; however, conditions will vary due to actual use by marine corps and is certified military surplus. We inspect all items and make professional repairs if and when needed. Some may have stains, writing, color fading, small repairs, or surface rust but no holes larger than a pin. The lower shoulder harness strap may not come with the quick release function. The Hydration Backpack may have a crack in the sternum strap buckle. We found this to be a design flaw. They are still functional and the gear is fully usable. Some of the frames may have a hairline fracture and or may have a crack that has been repaired. If an issue does happen to come up, we will be more than happy to make it right.
