Condition Guid

Surplus is real military gear, and the exact conditions may vary.  Surplus is graded to give you options for your budget and have a clearer description.  We grade to a high standard and may differ from other brands scales so please read our grades in full.  Military gear was built well and used by soldiers proving its quality.  We hope you find that it serves you well. 

Grade 1 Like New:  out of the factory case or may have only minor signs of use or storage marks. 

Grade 2 Used : What we call normal surplus. The gear is fully usable and shows normal signs of use and has a lot of life left. Some items may have stains, writing, color fading, repairs, and or surface rust on them.  We found that up to a small 1/4” hole or fray does not repair well and do not affect the gears performance.
