Generation III Level 3 ECWCS Fleece Jacket, Foliage

Originally the Gen III was built to be part of the Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) for military outerwear and provides warmth while being breathable.  The Foliage color, was made for use with the original ACU (Army Combat Uniform) UCP (Universal Camp Pattern) and makes it a versatile jacket and can be used as by itself or as a liner while being conveniently lightweight and packable for everyday use. 

It feels like you are wearing a very comfortable blanket.  Constructed from 100% polar fleece, it is a great item for keeping you warm without bulk.  For added warmth, the front zipper fully extends all the way up through the collar.  The nylon covered neck, shoulder and elbow patches provide durability for repeated use making it more durable.  Breathable gridded armpit panels stretch and allow for greater range of movement while providing a mean for excessive heat to escape, keeping you dry and comfortable. 

Transporting your gear isn’t a problem with 2 outer side pockets and 2 inside mesh pockets. It also includes loop fields for rank and name badges. It is great for everyday use, uniform and even the outdoors. Can be use as a liner or by itself.
