MRE Humanitarian Daily Ration HDR
Meal Ready to Eat, 10 Meals 20 Entree's
The Humanitarian HDR daily rations (HDRs) are MRE meals ready to eat food rations manufactured by military MRE contractor Wornick. The first thing you notice is that they are just as heavy as the issue G.I. MRE Meals and each meal contains 2 entrees with multiple other items making these MREs fully packed.
These MRE's are intended to be supplied to civilians and other non-military personnel in humanitarian crises at home and around the world. Each meal is designed to serve as a single person's full daily food supply and packed between 1800- 2,200 calories to meet everyone’s needs. Made to last for many years, each case has a red sticker to indicate if the meals were exposed to excess heat or cold. If the red sticker does not have a black filling dot, you’re all set and will have emergency MREs for years. In house taste teased had very high reviews and we know you will love them too.

MRE Inspection Expiration Date
The date on an MREs is the “Inspection Date” rather than an "Expiration Date". The inspection date is typically three to five years after the meal was packed and they will last many years after. The date is used as a reminder for you to check that the meal’s packaging is in good condition and that there are no signs that the meal has gone bad. Our warehouse staff does random inspection of the MREs and verifies that they are still in Military compliance. Over time MRE's as in all foods will start to lose some of their value, but the main protein will still remain intact. We have had many of our staff eat them long after any date in the field. For health and safety reason food items are Non-Returnable items.
