The Outdoor Research extreme cold weather Firebrand mitts are a must have item for the extreme cold altitude. They are designed to keep your hands warm and dry. Constructed to be waterproof and have a water repellent leather palm, the Firebrand Mitts are made out of a Nylon Taslan/Gore-Tex 2 ply. What makes them so warm is the Moonlite pile fleece lining combined with EnduraLoft insulation that is located on the back of the hand helps add additional warmth without feeling bulky. For better grip the palms are made out of goatskin.

These Mitten are designed to be used with and without the liners. The Removable fleece liner is also water repellent. The Outdoor Research Extreme Cold Firebrand Mitts the shell has an elastic wrist that extends up the forearm with an adjustable cord and barrel lock.
