The PCU Level 6 is the "Wet Weather / Hard Shell" layer of the 7-layer SOCOM system. Unlike the heavier Level 5 soft shell, Level 6 is a lightweight, strictly waterproof barrier designed for heavy downpours and wet static conditions. It is specifically oversized to be worn over other combat uniform layers.
Issued to the U.S. Special Ops you will notice the soft non-stiff feel and we like the knee-length side zippers to get them over your boots. Made in the U.S.A and part of the Protective Clothing Uniform it packs small and easily fits into your backpack giving you total waterproof protection.
