This genuine Satin Cotton military surplus shirt boasts a rich history, dating back to 1952 and remaining uniform shirt until the early 1970s. Unlike its later poly-cotton cousin, this fatigue shirt is made from a soft cotton sateen weave, offering a distinct look and feel. The sateen weave catches the light for a subtle sheen; this may look good but was to the best option in combat. Many of the shirt have epaulets and we found some soldiers added them in country making them rarer and more special. A great shirt for collectors and history buffs.

Sizing
U.S. Vintage Shirts are sizes by neck and measurement around the waist. The 2nd measurement is noted as the circumference around the waist/hip area. 15.5 x 35 would convert to 15” neck with a total circumference of 35” There is no sleeve length measurement and will be in proportion to both sizes.
