The Frontier Filter Straw is an ultralight, compact and easy to use emergency water filter that is certified to EPA standards for the removal of Cryptosporidium and Giardia. Simply use the Straw Filer to drink from from a bottle, or directly from a water source. As a pocket size emergency filter it will last up to 30 gallons and prevents the growth of bacteria, algae, fungus, mold and mildew within the filter so you are sure you are safe for the next use.  The staff has personally used this and love how easy and compact it is. Best used in your emergency kit, day hiking or as a back up filter on longer trips.
