U.S. Issue Woodland 3-Layer ECWCS Sleeping Bag System

The U.S. Issue Military Modular Sleep System is one bag that can cover all your needs.  The system contains a Gore-Tex Woodland Camo waterproof breathable Bivy Cover, olive green light weight Patrol Sleeping Bag, Black Intermediate Weather Sleeping Bag (ICS) and a Military Compression Sack.

Each sleeping bag can be used individually or together to make the perfect sleeping bag for any temerature.  The patrol sleeping bag that is rated for temperatures 50 to 30°, the Intermediate Cold Weather sleeping bag is rated for temperatures 30 to -10°, and the Bivy Cover is made of waterproof and windproof 3-layer GORE-TEX® fabric.  When combining the Patrol and ICW bags, the system is rated to climates -20; down to -50° with proper clothing. Mix and match as you need for the perfect temperature every time. 

All this will pack into the stuff sack that compresses to one cubic foot with wide nylon webbing straps adjust by ladder lock buckles. The Entire system measures 19.5-23.5” in length and just over 10” in diameter. Made in the U.S.A and tested by soldiers around the world.

Condition Guide

Surplus is real military gear, and the exact conditions may vary.  We grade used military surplus to give you options and offer a clearer description. Military gear was built well and used by soldiers proving its tested quality.  We hope you find that it serves you well. 

Grade 1 Like New:  Out of the factory case or may have only minor signs of use or storage marks. 

Grade 2 Used: What we call normal used surplus. The gear is fully usable and shows normal signs of use with a lot of life left. Some items may have stains, writing, color fading, repairs, and or surface rust on them.  We find that up to a small 1/4” hole or frays does not repair well and do not affect the gears performance.
