The US Army Issue Integrated Head Protection System (IHPS) is the pinnacle of combat ballisitc headgear, engineered to provide unparalleled protection, adaptability, and comfort for the solider. The IHPS was introduced in 2019 as a Level IIIA that offers fragmentation, ballistic and impact protection, at a lower weight and better fit than its predecessors. It has only very recently started to be updated within the last couple of years, this protective helmet system has modern fit and configurations.
