MultiCam OCP Assault 3-Day MOLLE II
Backpack, Used
The Army issue MultiCam 3 Day Assault Backpack is a great size to use for an everyday field pack. It was designed to be a standard issue infantry pack used on short deployments that can be attached to the larger main MOLLE II ruck pack for longer haul use. Ships in either OCP or MultiCam based on stock
The assault pack has plenty of space with a main large pocket, zippered front cargo pocket, and a small utility pocket with Velcro closure for smaller items. There is also a slot for a radio antenna or hydration pack tube making it user friendly for the outdoors. To handle weight the back pad is made to accept a stiffener and is easily removable when not needed. FAQ
Is the internal frame sheet needed and why?
What's the weight capacity?
These packs are designed to carry 40-60 pounds of gear comfortably and have a capacity in the range of 1,850 to 2,000 cubic inches. It's meant to carry up to three days worth of gear or a weekend of travel for a civilian. It is to be noted that the lower waist belt is not designed to be weight supporting, but to keep the backpack from bouncing around. The shoulder straps are also wider than a bit thinner than commercial day packs. This helps make them comfortable, distribute weight and is better for storing out of the way when attached to the larger rucksack.
