Description
The Gen III ECWCS Level 3 Fleece Jacket is the insulating layer in the ECWCS system. Wear it over your Level 1 or 2 base thermals, under a shell, or by itself. For those on duty it may be worn as your uniform piece.
The high-pile fleece traps air and holds heat better than a flat fleece. We like the grid fleece side panels let it breathe and stretch when you’re working and its under gear. Nylon on the collar, shoulders and elbows takes the wear where a pack strap or would chew through plain fleece.
Tru-Spec makes it to the military spec, and we’ve trusted their gear for years without problems.
