This is the updated Rifleman's kit, the one handed out at RFI before soldiers shipped out. Built to be an infantry fighting load. Ammo, water, grenades, and a shovel, all carried on the body where you can get to it. The TAP upgrade from the older ACU kit fixes the problem of using a FLC vest and allows the flexibility of your ammo hauler being used with our without an armor vest.
Sixteen pieces, all OCP MultiCam, all from one complete kit. Every piece carries its own NSN. Everything runs on MOLLE / PALS webbing, so you have a shooters choice set up and the flexibly to use all or some of the gear where you want it. The assault day pack completes the load out. Run the whole thing for a range weekend, hunting or more. It all comes apart and goes back together however you want it.
