This Vintage ALICE pack was built for a radio operator. From the outside it looks like a standard medium ALICE. The changes are all inside, and none of them get in the way of normal use.
There's a divider in the main compartment, similar to the poncho liner pocket but sized for a SINCGARS, with straps to keep it from sliding around. Works out to be a nice upgrade for keeping clothing or gear separated.
The hood has a hook and loop port that lets an antenna run out the top with the pack shut which can be used for hydration. Inside the rubberized hood is the standard pocket still there for maps and small items you want fast.
Made on a government contract. NSN 5895-01-461-4505. The tag inside the hood reads CASE, ELEC-COMMUNICATIONS, US ARMY. Stock can vary.
Works with or without a frame. Frames and LC straps sold separately when we have them.
