The FR fleece was part of the Army's FREE clothing system issued to solders that work around hazards. It was designed to be a level 3 liner that can be worn as a stand alone. Made of Polartec fleece from Nomex, so it won't melt or drip in open flames. Wear it alone or under a shell. It has a High collar, full zip, inside pockets and hook and loop panels for patches.
If you work around fire, fuel, or arc flash, this is the cheapest real FR fleece you'll find. If you just want a warm jacket, it's a Polartec mid-weight made by Peckham in the USA at a great price.
