This genuine Satin Cotton military surplus shirt boasts a rich history, dating back to 1947 and remaining uniform shirt until the early 1970s. Unlike its later poly-cotton cousin, this fatigue shirt is made from a soft cotton sateen weave with original brown buttons, offering a distinct look and feel. The sateen weave catches the light for a subtle sheen; this may look good but was to the best option in combat. Many of the shirt have epaulets and we found some soldiers added them in country making them rarer and more special. A great shirt for collectors and history buffs.
