The Army MOLLE II Rucksack has two optional (but highly recommended) sustainment pouches that are big enough to hold water bottles, 3 full MRE's, or other supplies you need quick access to. The ACU sustainment pouches are secured by buckles on the flap just like the main compartment. The two sustainment pouches are highly recommended items that make a great compliment to the main pack. All of the pockets have drain holes on the bottom center so your gear doesn't stay wet in bad weather. This plus the water repellent nylon material accounts for the number of happy customers that have purchased this MOLLE rucksack. Be sure to store the ruck off the ground or leave it on its back when there is water on the ground to keep your equipment inside dry. This is to prevent water from entering the drain holes and soaking your equipment.
